PLEASE HELP - Unable to connect to database.-
Permalink
I recently migrated from one hosting plan to another- godaddy neglected to have me backup my databases - I should have been paying more attention. They did a full restore. I was told all I needed to do was change my username and password in the site.php file but umm, that's not working. And they say we're able to connect to your DB just fine- this is not our fault. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP!

When moving a site the other things that may need to change in config/site are the MySQL server name and the databases name. Maybe that also applies here.
No dice. Can you help?

Is the core c5 version the version you originally installed, or have you upgraded at any point?
If so:
- Does the last line of config/site point to the correct upgrade?
- How old was the database backup that godaddy restored for you? Could it be a version of the site from before you upgraded?
