Posting in forums is extremely slow

More than a minute ago, I clicked Reply in this thread:http://www.concrete5.org/community/forums/chat/shouldnand039t-all-a...
The spinner is still spinning.
Before that, I posted another reply, and it took about 10 seconds between clicking the Reply button, and the reply pop-up closing. That's too slow, IMO, for just posting in the forum at 2am Pacific.
[Almost 3 minutes since my Reply above; apparently still hadn't POSTed, but a refresh of the page shows the post was in fact made, about the time I clicked Reply]
UPDATE: posting this also took 10+ seconds AFTER the attachment finished uploading

Most likely. Just tried, but the other window took 10-15 seconds to load as well, so couldn't quite tell. Speedtest.net shows 25Mbps, so it's not me. :)
What Frz describes is what I see when posting to the forums for about 10% of posts. But like buses, its not random. Everything works fine, then sometimes I get several posts running when it appears to lock up in my browser while actually the post has been successfully made.
missed. When I see these lags, if i load the thread in another browser
the post is already there.
does that jive with what you're seeing?
best wishes
