PRB Forum

Was wondering how I could access the PRB forum. Followed the link, and put in my userID and password, but it does not load a forum, simply asks for userID and password again.

No error message. If I use the wrong password - then there is an error message.

Whats up with that?

Thanks.

You have to earn special permission from the core team. You will need to contact one of them (namely, Julia), explain what qualifications you have to them and why you want to join, and they will manually add you if approved.

Once on the PRB, you will be expected to be at least somewhat active in it, or you may be removed from it.

Thank you for the information.

Just to be sure I am not confused here - I gathered from the information at the bottom of this page (http://www.concrete5.org/developers/marketplace-submission-rules/) that the PRB would be the place to discuss marketplace submissions and similar things. Perhaps it serves other purposes as well.

Please advise.

Hey Brad,
Its my understanding that the PRB primary objective is to Test, Critique, and potentially pass on for Approval submissions of themes and add-ons to assure they work with and do not break or harm C5 installations. I may be wrong, but I don't believe they're set up as a discussion forum.
I have a lot of respect for the professionals that are volunteering their technical expertise to make my websites stable and trouble free.
Thanks PRB folk!

Hi there, Yes Adreco is absolutely right, its for members of the PRB to discuss submissions etc etc, if you need some general advice about building a theme or add-on that you want to submit to the marketplace then probably the "building with Concrete5" would be the most appropriate forum for you.

I have reached that same conclusion.

Thanks everyone who responded. This is the most awesome forum!

Thanks Julia.

I spoke with John "the fish" - great guy - about how the review process works. Mostly I was just curious. He gave me some tips to help make reviewing easier.
