Problems with Editor

Hi all..
Up until yesterday, the block (content) editor was working fine, however last evening I noticed it would not let me change the color of the fonts within the content block as I had been doing all day. When you highlight the test you want to change, and then click on the icon for the font color, you get NOTHING. I then went to another site I have been working on and tried the same.. and while it did not give me a drop down box for the color change, it did pop up one further up in the screen away from the editor itself.

I think there is a bug with the editor, but not sure what it is. These were both recent installs and had been working previously just fine.

Anyone have any idea how to fix this? It is very frustrating - and if I can't find a fix for it, I will have to go with another program

Hi.

Had a similar problem (I hope its the same).

Try to scroll up when you click the color pallet. Hopefully it should appear.

Let me know if it does or not. I will monitor this post.

Yes.. that worked, although I have no idea why that is happening. It appears the page itself must be scrolled to the top in order for the color pallet to appear as it should. I'm still thinking it is a bug. Thanks so much for your help. Much appreciated.

Yeah.. I read another post that had something to do with Tiny MCE. Just not sure why it up and started doing it all of a sudden. It doesn't matter which browser I am using either.

Have the same problem. Tried changing setting in pages/themes, which won't make sitewide changes either. Any other ideas?
