Problems with my SEO, Google and Bing

Hi,

I had rebuilt my sitehttp://splash-goa.com I had started 8 days ago and launched the new site on Tuesday, I had done the usual stuff with google and bing webmaster tools, submit sitmap.xml , previously the site had been running for almost 2.5 years, but became full of errors recently when my host switched servers, hence i decided to do it again from scratch.

Now when I google my site address the front page comes up and one more which is /public_html/ not sure why this is showning?

I also get 614 in total 404 not found errors, does this just go away?

I have similar thing with Bing.

Is there something wrong with my site or will it sort itself out?

Regards,

Stefan

When you rebuilt your site did you use the same page names?
Are the URL's the same?
If not then Google will see this as 404 pages.
If you did use different names then you can add the old url paths into the new page properties and you will keep your old SEO and they will be redirected to your new pages.

You might also want to check your robots.text in your root and check that you have disallowed all the relevant folders. I recently got caught out in an upgrade where I forgot to disallow the newly created /updates folder. I had to do a url removal request for the whole folder in web master tools and change the robot.txt.

Hope that helps in some way.

Hi, when I built the site, I had deleted the old site, my hosting company had put all the existing files into a new folder for me, I deleted everything and went for a clean install.
Only two URL's remain the same, every other is different, almost all the content has been rewritten. All the SEO work has been deleted, I don't have a back up anymore.

The robot.txt file is what comes with c5 and i didn't make any alterations.
