Process Email Posts - job ID 3 never ends

Hi.
I ran scheduled jobs for the first time under the Maintenance tab.
First two jobs ran quick and were checked off.
Job ID 3 'Process Email Posts' however has been running since 07.06.10 (yesterday) 22:31:06 PM - I have since then logged in and logged out (left myself logged in over night - thought it would stop)
-How do I kill the job?
I'm still running v 5.3.3.1 and don't really want to upgrade during errors/while things are still running.
Help appreciated.
