Quotes on Productivity Please?
I'm writing up some new copy making the business case for concrete5 to project manager agency types. One of the things those folks are looking for is a sense of productivity. Will it take longer to deliver this project with concrete5 vs drupal? Vice versa? It's certainly not the only factor, but it's in the equation.
My experience with writing copy like this is everyone says the same crap. No one is gonna sit there and spout off about how painful it is to work with their product. I believe that you can build great sites in a fraction of the time you normally might using concrete5, but it's going to mean a lot more coming from ANYONE but the CEO. ;)
So what I'm hoping for is some really nice testimonials that are focused around productivity and the increased speed you've been able to achieve by using concrete5 over our competition.
Please post them to our testimonials page;http://concrete5.org/about/testimonials...
anyone who posts one before October 1st gets an extra 500 karma points.
Thanks!

When I was making a similar case, I put together test sites with the default download and themes for Drupal, Joomla, C5 and a few others. Did some minimal admin, then told the people that needed convincing (reasonably capable end users, not computer experts) to:
a) Register as a user (and I would then give them admin access)
b) Add a new page in a specific place with a heading, a bit of text and a picture.
c) Show that page in the navigation.
d) Have a play.
All the test sites were pretty much trashed in the process, but those that needed convincing were easily convinced that C5 was the way to go (including me).

Hi Frz,
I have all my clients using concrete5.
Most of them came from wp or others.
I also paid early by them to maintain all tecnical aspects of the website and further development.
I dont manage content in it.
The point his that I used to do both since taking c5 onboard I dont need to manage content anymore.
Without exeption all my client are happy with c5, all say its very easy to use, there are always ocasional glitches but simple stuff to fix.
Productivity wise, well I spend less time trainning them, fixing stuff, and use that time to further develope their products.

I posted a comment, hope it helps. If I ever do get to finishing writing that blog post, I'll send you the link.
