Randomly display photo attribute from pages (portfolio)

Lets say there is a portfolio containing 100 pages and more. They all have an image attribute (and a title + link) that I like to display in a random slideshow.

I might have overlooked, but is there a block like this on the marketplace of a discussion on this forum to realize this?

Furthermore it should probably be done by ajax, as I don't want to load all instances at once and then display them at random. Figure that could be done a page list otherwise.

Hi thanks for your reply.
But they all actually don't seem to do what I want.

They display a selected fileset and I like them to display the contents of a page attribute.

you may want to take a look at the Magic Data add-on. I know it's capable of displaying a text attribute based on a string of symbols like [%CID ATTRIBUTE attribute_name%]. Never tried it with images yet!!

For sure the attribute slider looks useful. Checked it out before. But still it would be doing things double in this case.

Every page will already contain the necessary data. So I would need something like an ajax page list. (haven't seen one)
