Placed a reaction. We are Joomla builders for many years. Earning a living with it. Build more than 200 websites, also for governement and BIG companies likehttp://www.atradius.com

No need to make a competition out of this.
Looks like the Drupal and Joomla community is picking it up as an personal attack.

There is place for more than one CMS.

But must say i'am very impressed with Concrete5. And we will promote it strongly.

Think Concrete5 could be our first choice depending on the specs. in the proposal.

Good.

Ya know, any open source software is a wonderful thing, but I will happily stand toe to toe with drupal or joomla today. We have a better core, and a cleaner marketplace.

I'm not saying we're perfect, there's certainly a lot of things we want to work on - but I promise you your clients will prefer concrete5 over drupal or joomla, and you won't be limited in what you can build for them.

Y'all drupal/joomla developers got beef with what I'm saying? Fine. I get that anything you invest a lot of time into learning becomes something you want to protect. That's fair. I also get there are a ka-jillion CMS's out there and it's very difficult to make a snap decision on the quality of one with a few minutes review.

I just urge you to spend a bit of time on this one. You'll find the reviews being posted by people who do to be pretty flattering.

I'm eager to see Concrete5 put a solution up in the same fashion Drupal, Joomla!, and WordPress did for thehttp://cmsshowdown.com/competition...

Please look at the specifications and go for it! If the world is lucky, there will be yet another fabulous open source solution to choose from.

Can't wait to see your entry - and - I am eager to see this project flourish.

Cheers,
Amy :)
