Regular site shut downs - Bad Gateway 502. Any insights?
Hi, my site shuts itself down regularly, and displays a 'Bad Gateway 502' message when this occurs.
It's a bizarre development - the Apache server has been switching itself off once a week for the last few months since my hosting company (Media Temple) forced me to migrate my site to a different server (4.5 dv) because they were shutting down the 3.5 dv service.
Media Temple looked into it and suggested that it could be happening because I needed to upgrade to the latest version of Concrete 5. But after upgrading to the latest version, the problem is still persisting.
It's very odd because it happens like clockwork at about the same time every week. It always happens just after 5 am on Monday morning. I'm able to get it started again fairly quickly - but it's not ideal as I'm hoping to sell the site soon and obviously need to get any glitches fixed before I can.
Any advice/suggestions?
Thanks Amy

It is really strange that apache is switching itself off.
I definitely recommend reviewing the Apache error log for more specific clues.
But, it seems like it is resolving to the correct server, then is getting the error when apache does not respond (most likely because it is "switched off").
I hope this helps,
