Remove concrete 5 update

I tried to update my concrete 5 yesterday to 5.6.2.1. It went wrong and now my website is no longer accessible. Does it solve the problem if I remove the updates folder with the file concrete5.6.2.1_updater?
I also received a backup of my website via the host of my website. Can I just upload it again to solve the problem?
