Reply to comments in Guestbook

A feature that is missing (and it's a bit of a no brainer that it would be a good idea) is the ability to reply to a comment left on Guestbook. I have looked at alternatives (Facebook, Disqus etc) but none of them fit what I want.
Has anyone come across an addon that will do the job?

Anybody have any ideas as to the best/easiest way to maybe modify the guestbook for this? It is something that IMHO should be part of the guestbook block as it's pretty hard to sell the idea of not having it.
