Rich-Text Editor issue in User Attributes
Permalink
Hi
I have had a good look round the forums for any one else experiencing the same issue, but have had no luck.
I am trying to create User Attributes to allow users to add additional information to their profile.
I understand how to crearte these attribute and how they can be used. I am able to successfully add a Text Area attribute and select Rich Text.
However when I add content using the Rich-Text editor to add content to the page, the HTML is converted text.
I also have the same issue with the Plain Text editor, where if I add HTML manually this also converted to text.
This means that the HTML tags are shown on the front end and that it impossible to format any of the information entered.
Any help on this would be appreciated.

You may want to check out the release candidate for 5.4.1 (found on the downloads page.) We've done a bit of work with the rich text attributes, including allowing them to store HTML and display it properly, display it in a sanitized format in certain situations, etc...
Thanks it works a treat now
I have the exact problem in 5.7.2.1
