SagePay Addon Advice

I've been asked to build a site which needs some e-commerce capability.
I am not a programmer, HTML/CSS and a bit of JS is about my limit (that's why I like C5 so much).
The client's merchant will be SagePay - they are in the process of setting it all up. I am still at the quoting stage with the site so I haven't bought the Addon yet.

Will I need programming knowledge in order to be able to hook this add on up with their account? Or is it simply a button on the page, like Paypal button which just takes you straight to the merchant payment page?

Has anyone got any experience of using this and do you have any advice about possible pitfalls please?
Thanks
Al

Hi Al,

I have the eCommerce Add-on on a demo site we run to show concrete5 to our customers.

I would be happy to buy the SagePay Add-on and let you try it out on our install.

We can also evaluate it to see if any programming knowledge is required, however it is unlikely to be the case as that would almost defeat the point of the Add-on.

Thanks - that would be great! It will help if you are looking at it too - we can compare notes.

Let me know if there is anything at all I can do to help. The Add-On has been available in the marketplace for some time now and has quite a few users out there so far.

Thanks Jared
Is it a bit like a Paypal Buy It Now button where the price of the item is configured within the instance of the button and when clicked takes the person through to a secure SagePay site or something?
Sorry I really haven't used SagePay at all before.

Thanks
Al

I have purchased the Add-on and added it to my demo site.

It should be ready for you to play around with in the next couple of hours.

I will private message you the link.

Cheers
