that's probably something which each package developer can/should handle by himself.
They are able to edit the text and add some links..

Another idea - having a place per addon where people could add their "demo sites" to show where the addon is used.

Would be nice for me as someone who builds addons.

But from what I've heard there might be a sandbox someday where users can play with all the addons, but not sure about this. Core team stuff..

actually im in the works of doing this, it is going to be a c5 site that is auto-restored lets say every even hour (gmt) i really havent worked on, devs will be able to submit the addons for users to ample and try out.

How hard is that to do? Do you just need to create a duplicate directory, and a cronjob to take care of it?

I think this might be a good idea, except that I would prefer to be able to set a system like that up on my own server so I can make changes or roll out updates quickly.
