Search is finding content in page versions

My search results are showing pages that don't contain the search term. This term is in older page versions though. I don't want to remove old page versions.

I've cleared the C5 cache
I've reindexed all
I've cleared my browser cache
I looked at page properties to make sure the reference wasn't there

I am running 5.6.3.3

Any ideas on how I can get this working properly?
