Search the Concrete5 forums using firefox's search field
Permalink
I decided that I search the forums enough using Google's search that I might as well come up with a plugin.
I've attached the plugin here so everyone can use it!
Just locate your firefox profile on your hard drive (in $HOME/Library/Application Support on OS X) and put the attached file into your searchplugins folder and restart Firefox. I _think_ it should then show up for use in your search bar!
Feedback welcome, though there's not much I can change about it ;)

I cannot find this folder. I went to library->Application Support-> Firefox-> Profiles-> a funky name for the default (c2fzxpwv.default)=-> no search plugins folder... could u give further directions on where I need to go from there? Thanks

I put together a similar search engine add-on for C5 early this year. At the time I also put together some info (http://www.toddcrowe.com/posts/view/2009/03/11) on how it works, how to install it and a script for generating a search add-on for any site. The script will even take a image file and generate the inline image data you need for the icon.
