Selected Attribute order on Page Properties
Permalink
Am I correct in saying the the order that the Selected Attributes show in the Page Properties ( thats the List on the right side) is by akID.
Even if I move my Attributes around (via Page Attributes) on the All Attributes list ( left side ) the Right side does not change its order to match. I think its necessary to at least have them in the same order to match the left side.
ie. if I create an attribute say car_matt, then another for bike_pedal and then car_visor how will I group the car_matt and car_visor under each other in the Selected Attributes list. This causes confusion for the user.
Hope this makes sense. Have tested this on 5.6.

Can someone please at least confirm my findings are correct. Thanks
yea... i have the same issue. At one point, though they were in fact all nice and neatly placed in order - matching the left with the right. I know for a fact that my client is going to say to me "can those be in a different order so that x is grouped with x2?"
I am still diggin but I found this. I HAVEN"t tried it yet and not sure I will but its some info for you.

Hi
Thanks for the link. I am not sure if this fix was related to the column ALL ATTRIBUTES in the Page Properties>Custom attributes which is now sortable through Page Attributes in the dashboard.
I did point out the problem of the SELECTED ATTRIBUTES column in one of the Totally Random sessions but it was just brushed aside.
As a workaround I have to export the DB and alter the xml then re feed back into a new DB which is a total pain. Perhaps it will be fixed one day.
