Site to site license transfer
Permalink
After accumulating a lot of clutter on my Blue Host account via a number of Joomla sites which I've long since transferred to other people, as well as my own C5 site, I decided to clean house there and re start my own site with a clean install of Concrete 5.5.1.
That created two identical projects on my C5 project page. However, some of the licenses transferred, some did not. The one I'd like most to associate with the new version of the site is Flash Gallery.
I did release Flash Gallery from the old version of the site and it disappeared from there. It still shows up on the 'Transactions - Licenses' page of My Account, still as "Assigned to Site", yet it does not appear in the "Add item to this Project" option in the "** Select a license" drop down box to add to the new version of the site.
What have I missed/messed up?

You may want to use the support section for the add on. This will get the add on authors attention, and they will re issue the license.
Thanks, Ekko. I never would have thought of that because I figured I'd done something stupid. Well, I did actually, but one of the C5 Team members has covered my amateur mistake with an instant solution.
Seriously, thanks for reply. I'll keep it in mind for future mess ups.
Best regards,
Bert

Hi Bert,
I gifted you another license for Flash Gallery.
I verified the issue you had with the first license, and I can probably have someone edit the database to restore that license properly. But, since it was a prize to begin with, it's easier to just gift you another license. Please let me know if there are any more issues.

Hello Julia,
Many, many thanks. Re associating the Flash Gallery went without a hitch.
I suspect that had I studied up a bit more on how to go about the house cleaning I did, I wouldn't have created this minor problem. I've purchased the PACKT Beginner's Guide for concrete5 - in fact it arrived in the mail today. I've also been plowing through the on line documentation and tips, etc., - so hopefully, I won't be pestering anyone over such inane issues for too much longer.
However, it never ceases to amaze me how fast and friendly the help you folks provide comes to novices like myself. Much appreciated!!
Best regards,
Bert
