Sitemap.xml

I have searched the forums for this answer but to no avail. On my server I have generate_sitemap.php in concrete/jobs/. The problem is it will not show up in the dashboard as a job so it can be run. Knowing what a great feature this is, I want to get it back and be able to use it. The other two are there and working perfectly just not sitemap.xml.
Any suggestions or ideas would be great as I am trying to finish up this site and want to use the sitemap feature.

I tried the trick of moving the generate_sitemap.xml from concrete/jobs to jobs but throws an error squacking about line 116.
I attached the file below. I have tried to do as you suggested but it doesn't seem to work either.

I have run the query several times. It keeps squawking stating " You have to choose at least one column to display". Any ideas?

hmm.. I tried to see if I could get that error too but I did not.
Here's what I did
-- logged in
-- went into the concrete5 database (should only have like a list of a few db's to choose from on the left)
-- Went into the "SQL" tab
-- Pasted both lines of code in there and did "go"
Check out this video, it's better than just describing it. She is doing a completely different sql call than what you are doing, so you probably want to mute it and forward it to around the 45 second mark to see what you are actually looking for.

I just did it through my Arvixe hosting cPanel using phpMyAdmin. I pasted the entirety of the code linked above. I was at first in the Query tab of the database that I selected but then saw that I was supposed to be using the SQL tab.
I am the equivelent of a hunt-and-peck typer at this, I expect that I now havehttp://sineofthetime.com/sitemap.xml... to submit to Google Webmaster Tools as I am trying to follow Tony Trupp's article:

But the article linked above (http://www.concrete5.org/documentation/how-tos/developers/restore-the-generate-sitemap-job/) did say "if you accidentally remove your 'generate sitemap' job" which just left me unsure whether is was there, or how to find if it is there now?
I have C5 Version 5.5.1 installed.
Any additional tips are greatly appreciated. Thanks!

It seems so.
Google Webmaster Tools gracefully accepted my addition of the sitemap.xml extension, after I had indexed my sites with them (and after I added the sitemap code to my Database).
It seems that for my well-honed needle in a haystack (see sineofthetime.com) that my efforts now will be in learning the art of the Keyword (and being patient until the beginning of the next school year).
Tony's article really helped me get back on track, such as I know said track, thus far.

It's fairly brief but there really isn't much to it. You just need to get access to your database somehow. Most hosting companies offer phpMyAdmin access through whatever website control panel software they use.
