It is possible but not easy -- you would create a custom template for the slideshow block and output the url and title there. But this requires some php and javascript experience.

Another option is to check out the image galleries in the marketplace -- there's a few of them, some free and some cost money, but one of them may do what you want without requiring you to do any coding or customization.
