Does anyone have quips, anecdotes or one-liners about spending a few hours troubleshooting database connectivity, to find out the issue can only be resolved by restoring power in southern California? (Irvine, specifically)

so angry right now, I could spit.

just looking for some levity in the day.

Man I remember before we went open source we had a big startup client we had recommended put their presence on Rackspace for "flawless execution."

Of course, the evening they're going into a series B vc presentation, this happens:

After a lot of angry hours I believe the take away was "well, at least you know you're being screwed in good company."
