This looks like an awesome feature from a design point of view guys.

As a designer I often get bored with a lot of the themes in the marketplace (with some exceptions) which apart from a having few different backgrounds many appear too similar in design with very clunky, old fashioned layouts imo, sorry.

This however this looks like a breath of fresh air and I can't wait to try it out.

Maybe it would be a good experiment to see what would happen if a few online developers teamed up with some offline designers and together see if we can turn the box on it's head instead of being so close that we can't see outside of it ...deep eh lol!

I totally agree here, if C5 had a lot more of the slick, polished nice looking themes available like you find on other platformshttp://themeforest.net/ I think it would attract a lot more people. I've only ever brought a theme to look at the code not to use the design.

I'd be happy to contribute to the design side, I can design and build themes but wouldn't have a clue how to build one to sell on the market place.

Flashy themes are often built on front-end frameworks that require a higher version of jQuery than concrete supports, they need to fix deprecated dependencies first, themes will follow soon after.
