The Picnik is over? Image editing software is now closed?

Hi guys I see that the 'picnik' is now over for the image editor in C5.

Will there be a new editor?

There is already a new SIMPLE editor (developed by the core team) built into the latest version of Concrete5 (to replace Picnik).

Looks like there may not be an addition of a 3rd party image editor due to the headaches caused by Picnik closing down.

Avoiding a 3rd party option would mean that C5 can't have the rug pulled from under it anytime soon.

works on older versions of concrete5 too so you don't have to upgrade.
