Tracking Codes header or footer

Greetings, As I see it in the Dashboard of 5.7.6, you have the option to place tracking code in EITHER the Header OR the Footer. Why not offer both? Some code really needs to be in the header, but other code can be in the footer. (If it is in the footer, does the page load quicker than if it is in the header, such as Google tracking code?) It would seem pretty simple to just offer two boxes, one for header code and one for footer code. Does that make sense? Thanks.

You can always make a global area in your theme for the different areas.
It seems to me if you're using a tracking code for analytics you'd only use one. They usually specify where to put it.
I think google uses asynchronous js so it doesn't hold up the page if you put it in the header.

Thanks, but I am just a novice end user so I don't know how to make a global area in my theme. I have many scripts that need to be put in header, body or footer. I saw the Tracking Code block as an easy way to do this. I have Google code, Bing code, Alexa code and multiple ad network's code.
It would seem like a pretty simple thing for the C5 team to give you separate boxes for adding tracking/misc. code and scripts to header, body, footer. Possible update feature?

Hi slojes,

There is a feature request for this in the concrete5 GitHub issues.
"Feature Request: Split tracking codes into Header & Footer #3711"

I recommend commenting on this issue to show your interest.
