Transfer content from Wordpress to Concrete

We will be converting a large site (100+ pages) from Wordpress to Concrete. Any helpful tips or conversion software available? Also... can Concrete handle 100+ pages? Are there any Concrete modules that need to be modified to handle that many pages (regarding the sitemap, search, etc)?

Thanks in advance!

The sitemap should be fine with thousands of pages. If you open a particular node in a sitemap that has more than 500 pages, it will display a "more" link that links you in to the 'flat view' sitemap, which has pagination. Also, page search in the dashboard makes it easy to find what you need.

This site, for example, has several hundred thousand pages in it and we can get around even at the particular nodes that have lots of pages within them. I think you should be a-ok!

I was also curious about running the sitemap.xml job. Is there are way to run that outside the dashboard. It's kind of a bummer to run on 20,000 pages sometimes. Do you guys run it like that?

We have it customized to output only certain pages from our site. The main about, developers, docs and marketplace, and then the most helpful/answered posts in our discussions. We don't output a record for every page.

Indeed. I took a look at it. I'm dealing with a _very_ diverse product catalog with 19,000 unique products and counting right now so I was going to script the sitemap.xml but was just curious if you guys had one lying around. Thank you for the information.

Not really one that's not super custom. Probably a good idea for an
SEO-related add-on, honestly.
