updates folder chmod
Permalink 2 users found helpful
Hi.
I have 20+ Concrete 5 sites running. Most of them are on the same service providor / webhosting. Usually I perform the updates automatically trough the dasboard to all sites and I follow the same procedure on every site.
Recently I have started to notice that there are only few sites that have their chmod settings correct in the updates folder - folders 755 and files 644.
Most of the sites have the updates folder set to 777 by default after running the update.
Does anyone have any idea why this happens?
