I have a local project that I am building and I needed to upgrade to concrete5.6.2.1. The upgrade went as expected. My question is that now it seems the core concrete files are in the update folder under concrete5.6.2.1_updater - Do I need the root/concrete folder still or is this just old folders there for no reason?

I have run into the problem since upgrading that I can't set defaults for page blocks under pagetypes - I click in and the page is shown without the edit bar and there is no areas that my editable content is showing. Yet under normal editing everything works fine.
