Upgrading to 5.4.2.2

Hi All

I am trying to upgrade a 5.4.2.1 to a 5.4.2.2
For some reason when I am at 2.1 I am not offered the ability to upgrade to 2.2. via the Dashboard.
I have tried several methods of upgrade with so far no joy.
Here is what I have done, can anyone tell me where I may have gone wrong.

Uploaded a copy of the 2.2 core only into the /updates folder in a folder called concrete5.4.2.2 and gone to the dashboard and not see any offer to update.
Ran the upgrade pathwww.www.mysite.com/tools/required/upgrade... and I am told I am at 2.1 and up to date. Same result with the upgrade URL including /index.php and adding .php to the end of upgrade.

Next I tried swapping out the core so deleted the 2.1 /concrete folder and replaced it with the 2.2 /concrete folder.
Again no update offered and running of both versions of the upgrade URL get the same result as before.
Now I am confused as I have a 2.2 core that thinks it's a 2.1 and the site still works??????

This is a test site, so no customer to worry about but I would really like to get to the bottom of this as I understand you need a site to be 2.2 to take it up to 5.5

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Alex

Hi
I seem to be having the same problem. My site is version 5.4.1 and I need to upgrade to 5.4.2.2 in order to install a theme I have just purchased.

Same issues /index.php/dashboard/system/update/ says I'm up-to-date

Downloaded 5.4.2.2, unzipped, deleted all but concrete folder, rezipped and copied to /updates

Nothing has changed at /index.php/dashboard/system/update/

/tools/required/upgrade states "Your site is already up to date! The current version of Concrete5 is 5.4.1. You should remove this file for security."

I have go no idea what to do from here. Anyone?

NB. If I "Click here if you would like to re-run this script." at
/tools/required/upgrade then I get the message "Upgrade to 5.4.1 complete!"

Not sure if you have cracked your problem yet but I have found a solution that seems to work for me.

Delete your C5 cache, that may be all you need but I also go to Sitewide Settings/ Debug then select Refresh core database and blocks and do the refresh.

Once I had done that then bingo up came my update prompt that worked super fine.

Hope it helps

as 5.5.0 and 5.5.1 already out I suggest you better try 5.5.0 or 1
It has many improvements over 5.4.x

Thank you utomo but our issue was getting to 5.4.2.2 so we can get to 5.5+ as that is the upgrade path to follow.

Hi madeforspace,

You should be able to download 5.4.2.2, unzip it, and place it in your updates directory (the whole thing, not just the core). That should make the update available here:

index.php/dashboard/system/update/

I've included some screenshots to help out. Let me know if that solves your problem.
