Use Page List block for a Single Page

How to make use of the Page list block to reference a "single" specific page (not those beneath)
I like the look of the Page List block when used with the secondary template.
I have a newspaper like website and enter "articles" / sub pages under various pages which I may display as a "page list" on one or more pages.
In one situation I have one specific page - that I wish to reference under a page list from another page. IE I will show a page list (4 items) with those pages "Under a specific page". ....Then I want to add another block "Page list" that only references one page from a completely different page.(the page itself) with the Secondary template which shows a page image.
Is there another solutions?
