User info and avavatar managing in C5 5.5.1

Hello everybody;
I don´y know if it can be considered a bug or if it's just a missfunction of the the new C5 release.
When editing user profiles I found it hard to customize, or even impossible, user public name (what will be shown to the public) and avatar management.
The free add on "gravatar" (http://www.concrete5.org/marketplace/addons/gravatar-add-on/) does not work in 5.5.1
When editing user information, once you've uploaded an avatar image, you can't see it at the editing panel. And furthermore, there's no way to replace it, or choose an image from the files/avatars/ folder.
