I am testing out 5.5 right now and I have a question about approving users...or really about notification in general:

Is there a way to highlight that the admin/toplevel users need to do "something"? Right now, how do I (for example) even know that some users are awaiting approval?

All that space on the top bar is begging for me to see something up there like a little red number or "!" or something saying that I need to approve users, or that something critical is waiting for me.

Is there any functionality for this? Seems like if you have a setting that says "X can only happen if Y approves it" should be followed by a notification function that tells Y that X is waiting?
