using beta 8, but will I be able to upgrade to the stable v8 version

Setting up a site on v8 beta, but will I be able to update to v8 stable when released or will it e a complete new install.

You shouldn't use BETA versions for production, as too many things can go wrong. It's always best to wait until the stable version is released.

I do know that you will be able to upgrade from 5.7 to 5.8 when it's released, so you might want to just use 5.7.5.9, then upgrade to 5.8 when it's available.

PineCreativeLabs is right of course.

A (manual) upgrade MIGHT work, but I wouldn't build production site on a beta.
