view in the statistics block???

Hello,
Looking to find out exactly what the views statistic represents in C5? According to google/analytics, my site has has only 185 visits for a months time, where C5 has the views up into the hundreds for the past 5 days?? Not sure what's up with this. Anyone know?

the statistics built into c5 sucks, it takes into account everytime a page is viewed as a hit, so editing a page automatically gives it atleast 3 hits,

i suggest using google analytics, and/or Tony's stats package
