Warning message
Permalink
Can someone help me with this error message? The images at the bottom of the home page error out and generate a warning. I've tried clearing the cache. Also, the warning message contains an old file path reference. Please advise, thank you!http://www.marcielsaban.com

try emptying the cache.
its looking into your site root > tmp folder which is a strange path. How long has this been happening?
rereading your message I see youve thought of this already.
If you PM me your admin login I can take a look.
Thank you! Just sent!
This is most likely not a c5 problem. Here's my guess:
If you look at the path in the error message you will see a double slash after tmp/cache
The cache's path is usually a PHP setting that can be set in PHP.ini
My guess is it includes one sladh too many.
One thing you should do to check that is do a phpinfo() and check the save_path setting
Sorry for the technical talk, that was mostly for Tallacman, I am sure he understands

actually, since this is legacy c5 you might also want to check in the site.php settings if the cache path hasn't been defined with an extra slash at the end
Thank you, will check that out
Thanks, you're right! I forgot to update to the new path in site.php. Ugh! Wel the site is working now, the warning errors have gone away but the images aren't appearing. Any suggestions??
Now would be a good time to empty the cache :)
lol...ok I did but still not appearing :(
as a test, do they appear when you're logged in as admin?
no they don't appear.
it seems those images in the footer are part of a gallery, put the page in edit mode and edit the block. You don't need to change anything just put it in edit mode and click save, then publish the page and hopefully it should solve the problem.
Images still a no show after I edited them. Is there something I missed as far as path goes after I switched hosts? I can't figure this out. I keep going through the files, I know its under my nose...ugh.
There's nothing more I can say without having a closer look really. Now is night time here so I'm going to bed but if you want to send me an admin login by PM, I'll have a look tomorrow.
Ok, thank you so much!
I checked your site and it's not something there so probably something at the server level.
I can have a look with an ftp access if you want. I have a theory or 2 that might be correct.
