I noticed this week that details that used to appear below the subject of each thread post are now hidden behind a "Details" link that must be clicked to get the...well...details.

I can't stand this!

Now I don't know who said what or how old any particular post is until I go through the hassle of clicking on the Details link!

Who said what is important for me in that I tend to weigh more heavily what certain individuals here say. And knowing how old a post is also important in that the input may not even apply any longer if the post was made years ago.

I realize for the forum it may be better to hide the details in that people might think the forum is busier than it actually is by not seeing the dates or some such but this is an absolute pain that is irritating the heck out of me.

Is there some way to cause the Details to be back on by default?

I mean having a single Details link at the top of a thread to show ALL details on that thread would suffice. Anything to get the Details to show again instead of having to hassle with clicking on one little Detail link for each post whose details I might be interested in.
