It's now happening on two sites of mine. Site loads fine except when logged in as admin, then nothing.

Blank white pages in Safari, and the following error in Chrome:

Server error.

The website encountered an error while retrievinghttp://www.greenworldpath.com/dashboard/.... It may be down for maintenance or configured incorrectly.

Have you upgraded recently?
Do you have access to your server error logs? If so, what errors do they give?

If you'd like me to try logging in and having a look, PM me your login details.

I think if you can't see anything in the server error logs, or don't have access to them, then I'd try reuploading the concrete directory.

Thanks for your help. I haven't upgraded recently. Though I did try and update the concrete5 folder after the site went down hoping it would fix the issue. Nothing changed, so I reverted.

Oddly, there is only one error in the Apache log:
Fri Dec 03 09:26:13 2010] [error] [client 72.77.203.202] Directory index forbidden by Options directive: /home/greenworld/domains/greenworldpath.com/public_html/blog/, referer:http://www.greenworldpath.com/events/...

Still happening with two sites. I have no idea what to check. Do you have any other ideas? Would you like some credentials to check the site structure? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

what was the last thing you did before you realized dashboard wasn't loading? and how long before that had you tried to access it?

The last time I was able to access one of the sites and make changes was about a week ago. I just made some simple changes to various pages.

I haven't accessed the other site in over 5 months; it's a client's web site.

Two separate incidents but the same issue. When Logged in as admin the website does not load.

It's strange that this is suddenly happening to 2 of your sites. Are they hosted on the same provider? If so, has the provider changed something in your environment?

Since you can't access the dashboard at all, I assume you can't look at Reports->Logs. You could use phpmyadmin and look at the Logs table that way. There might be a clue in there. Recently, I had a problem where I couldn't access the sitemap (received blank screen) and my logs showed an error indicating that there was a corrupt database table which I was able to repair using phpmyadmin.

Did you upgrade both sites?

It may have happened that something went wrong. You may have to reupload the /concrete directory from the zip file. Have a look into your /config/site.php after that, it should contain something similar to this:
