> I am new to Concrete5 and this is my first attempt to create a website. I have read a lot of your information but am missing, or not understanding, a simple method for creating a new website with an existing header that must be imported into the new website. I'd appreciate some beginner's help.

As for the header that can be done within c5 or css,as for a simple method, website building is not simple but its not hard either you should have some knowledge of css, html, and php is helpful.

The c5 community is more then willing to help.
The forums are filled with answers to your questions.

What you wont find is tutorials on html, css, not saying we wont help, but that information is on the web.

Do have more direct questions of what you want to do?

you should be able to take a look at some of the default templates and how they treat headers/content/footers in the root->concrete->themes directory.
