What does "Invalid Token" mean?

I tried several times to reply to a response, and got that message. I have been able to reply before. I know I'm new, but am I in the doghouse already?

I think this forum is having technical problems at the moment (and has been for a few weeks). In my case, it manifests as an unclosing 'Post Reply' popup, even though the reply gets posted okay.
Okay. That makes sense. I've been getting the "unclosing reply" consistently as well. I've learned that once I see the little clock thing twirling around, to just do a page refresh (after I select and copy my response...just in case).
That sounds right.
This invalid token error is happening again...
