What does this mean? Am I supposed to check the boxes or not check the boxes? Does this have something to do with wy my site doesn't show up in google search?
That has nothing to do with why your site does not show up in google search. If you have the search index set to blacklist, the internal concrete5 search indexer will index all areas but the checked ones.
If it is set to whitelist, then it will only index the checked areas.
