we're polishing something up now, expect to launch it before the end of the month.

...that we will need to re-post our packages at that time then? cuz I have rev'd mine up a few times since I submitted them.

yeah we have a big sexy new form that checks a bunch of stuff and puts it in a queue.

We then check to make sure its not porn or spam, and we hit the magic button that creates an instance to play with.

We're then going to bring in a community review component where some human has to come along and verify that table names are correct, etc.. There's just been a few things we want to know that we're finding are hard to suss out programatically, and we also expect the list to grow over time, so it struck us yesterday that instead of trying to engineer the perfect solution we should build a platform that helps the process run smoothly and draft some people into helping us.

Any rate, all in the works, eager to get it up because if you count Kino's themes, there are literally hundreds of add-ons in waiting. Exciting eh?

Would it be better to wait until the new marketplace is live to submit a new package then?

i'm just filing all the submissions and will spam ya later.. so don't stop working, but yeah possibly doesnt matter much till next week..

the only exception there is the coreCOmmerce stuff. I've already had a UPS and a FedEX shipping add-ons submitted, and im doing my best to let people I know are working on stuff there aware that someone has beat them to the punch.. bit of a land grab around that at the moment so as far as i'm concerned, if your add-on works, first come first win.. That being the case, if you're done with something for eCommerce make sure i know about it.

Any news about the status of the FedEx add-on?Would sure be handy right about now...
