Where has the shared C5 hosting gone
Permalink
Hey,
When I click: Marketplace > Hosting
I only get three external shared hosting possibilities.
C5 used to have some options here as well. What has happened to them?
I see one C5 hosting option under enterprise, but it is $750/month.
I see also Dreamhost has been replaced by webhostinghub.com
Are they the same company or did Dreamhost do something wrong to get taken off.
Does anyone have experience with webhostinghub.com or arvixe?
Regards,
Scott

on services offered. We wanted to get as much exposure to the
ecosystem of interest in concrete5 as we could, and I would often tell
my team "hey, that'll be a great problem to have!"
Now that we're a full grown toddler and we've been around a bit, we're
starting to focus a little bit more on things we know we're the best
at. Not only does that buy us more bandwidth to worry about the next
big thing, but it leaves more room for others to excel with our
product - go open source!
We've got a really nice partnership with Web Hosting Hub going. We
actually found them because they were taking time to write their /own/
how-tos on concrete5, which we find to be rather out of the ordinary
for a webhost. They've got a dedicated concrete5 evangelist and
support lead there who has access to our team as well, so we feel the
level of help they can provide concrete5 owners is fantastic.
Keeping our budget options to just a few on that page makes sense. The
referrals fees we get are not insignificant, and a really great way
for us to grow the project.
If you're looking to setup a hosting account, we'd deeply appreciate
you clicking that Web Hosting Hub logo and giving them a good hard
try.
