Where is the <br /> in the Content editor?

Big fan of C5 here :)
I have built several sites out of it and clients are loving it too.
Question:
When editing anything in a content block is there a way to only have a line break and not a full <p> break? I always get a <p> when I hit return/enter.
I didn't see one in the editor's tool bar and I have it set to "office" in the dashboard.
Seems there should be a way to do a simple line break <br /> tag.
Any body get what I'm talking about?
