Why screencasts for tutorials?

Howdy. I noticed an old post talking about paying a bounty for 'screencast' tutorials. I know everyone will laugh at this one, but do you realize there are MILLIONS of people in the US who do not have high speed internet available? [Sure, I can have satellite for an obligation of about $1500 up front. Are you writing me the check now?] They may wish to use C5 too. Why can't tutorials be put in plain old html/css, or maybe a pdf that can be downloaded and viewed at our leisure?

I don't need someone to give me a 55MB file to graphically show me which button to press to do something. I doubt most of the C5 users do either. All I--and probably most users--need is some basic information clearly organized.

Thanks for listening.
