Windows=other CMS, Mac=concrete5 :-)

Other CMS = Windows, concrete5 = Mac.

That's what one of Usagi Project members came up with.

"When you use concrete5, you feel like you are using Mac. And when you are using other CMS, you feel like you are using Windows." :-p

I've actually been dropping a similar analogy except I wouldn't even say other cms's are windows - they're MS-Dos.

Having to go to some geeky admin console to make a fix to a typo is akin to:
c:\> cd wordperfect
c:\wordperfect> wordperfect.exe

we're sitting on the same type of shift as old command line computing vs new GUI computing.

Feels a lot more like Linux to me. Someone who knows what they are doing can set it up the application so anyone can use it with tons of eye candy, but you can get all sorts of freaky with the gooey code underbelly if you want to.

Maybe I just hate Windows and Mac equally.

talking about windows, linux and mac os is always fun (:

I work with all three operating system and I like all of them for certain tasks..

But c5 is definitely a fresh breeze in the cms world, whether it works like linux or mac.

I think there are already plenty of people out there who do not know about MS-DOS.

MS-DOS sounds better for us... but not to other newbie people :-p

I wish everybody could understand what commands are.
