404 Page Not Found and 406 Not Acceptable on Email System Settings

Hi there,
I'm having a really annoying problem, I can not access the Email settings under Dashboard System & Settings, all the links, EVERYTHING to do with email comes up with a 'Page Not Found' - I've cleared the cache, checked the URL and I've got a feeling it's to do with the way my server hasbeen set up. Anyone else have this problem?
When I use Pretty URL's it comes up as the default 'Page Not Found', when I turn Pretty URL's off it says '406 Not Acceptable - An appropriate representation of the requested resource /index.php/dashboard/system/mail/importers/ could not be found on this server.'
