5 version 8 broke after deleting default language

As i was installing a multilingual, I stupidly deleted the default language. Since then I have a lot of issues. My guess is that the "home" is not connected anymore to anything.
I can see the "home" (alone) in the flat view of the sitemap but not anymore in the full site map view.
Is there a way to restore the dafault language?
