5.5 edit button overlay options (permissions related)

Hi,
I have locked down my site to allow an Editor user to manage content. I have achieved everything i need usign the permission settings apart from one think.
Please see the attached screenshot. The editor can still access options like speed settings, delete, permissions... from the edit overlay panel.
How do i hide these? if it can only be done hardcoding, please advise.
