5.5 - is BASE_URL needed?

Hi There,

Sorry for the dumb question but is BASE_URL needed?

Or is it only needed if you're defining DIR_REL?

Have been searching for an answer here but didn't find anything sorry.

I'll stop using the forum search as a search from the dev docs brought up many more results including this: http://www.concrete5.org/community/forums/usage/definebase_url-http...

So this means c5 will auto detect but if you run into issues, manually enter the info?
