5.5.2.1 - Google Analytics in head tracks dashboard stats

Hi
I have found that if I use my Google tracking code in the head (as they suggest) then I if you look at the source code when in the dashboard pages.. the tracking code is there BUT if I use the tracking code in the footer.. it's not seen in the dashboard pages source code.

Was this done on purpose? or is it an oversite? I really just want to use the asynchronous analytics code in the head but not track site administrators who are skewing the stats in my opionion.

Any help on this would be apprecitated.

Loading analytics in the footer decreases the time taken to load site content. Google's own instructions have changed and suggest this as best route for overall load times. The simplest way to ignore visits from a specific user is to add their IP to ignored list in google webmaster settings.

Depending on your version C5 options from dash would be different. In 5.2 you should be able to select whether the analytics goes into head or footer. Check under Seo & Stats and the option should be there for you.
